In 1971, Anthony V. Lentini Jr started selling watermelon on the side of Route 206. From there, he had a vision of owning and operating his own farm. Anthony purchased his first tractor and started wholesaling sweet corn. As the years went on, Anthony married his wife, Heidi and together with their children, they expanded into retail farm stands and became a pioneer of Sussex County's agritourism business.
Today, the Lentini family farms over 1000 acres of produce and grain corn. Produce is sold at five farmstands and at the fall festival corn maze. Lentini Farms also wholesales to a variety of local supermarkets, restaurants and wholesale markets located in New York City and Philadelphia as a Good Agricultural Practices Certified company.
